I was inspired to draw the De Lorean, not only because it's one of the greatest trilogies of all time, but after seeing an artwork exhibition which focused on cars from films. They showed this time traveling marvel in a new light and I wanted to have a go at putting my spin on this epic icon.

I'm currently in the process of creating two more versions of this car, one set 30 years in the future and one from the wild west.

I wanted to start working more with texture when drawing people. Most of my silhouette portraits to date have very smooth, curved lines.

The very nature of The Walking Dead is that it's gritty. I loved being able to play with textures and colours here to make something that feels more abstract, but at the same time is true to the original show.

I know some things

I know some things

This is the latest creation to my Game of Thrones library - I honestly think I could draw imagery relating to this world full time without ever having the need to deviate.

I've experimented using a number of different dissolve effects in Photoshop in the past, but this was my first attempt to actually draw the effect.

Lanisters

This unlikely couple is still my favourite drawing to date. That's probably why I've reproduced these a number of times in different formats - his and her's t-shirts with some....interesting...tag lines always go down well at Comic Con.

In The Lodge I've also got a signed copy of Cersai from Lena and had great pleasure in giving her a copy of the Cersai tee - which I'm sure has probably ended by being used for dog bedding!

What's my name

What's my name

It amazes me that this is the only image of Walter White I've actually drawn to date! I've got a long list of people to be drawing, and he's definitely on their. Well along with Jessie, Saul (or Jimmy if you've been keeping up to date on Netflix) and Mike (see Gus below!)

Something, something, something, darkside

So you might have guessed that we stole the title from Family Guy!! This was originally a comission for a friend who wanted a hoodie with the phrase, but a more realistic version of The Emperor.

He was happy with the result - happy enough for me to share.

So I've got to admit, I'm not much of a Whovian (Gasp!) but the wife is. She's completely mad for it. In fact, I basically drew her as a Dalek for Wedding invites. 100% true - I've got a copy of the card in the portfolio; but I was very happy when it went viral (for about 24 hours):

What kind of fandom would I be if I didn't have the entire crew of our favourite Firefly class ship in the catalog.

A great show, a brilliant film - destined to be left wanting more.

- stay shiney

This image basically sums up my entire childhood.

Although I recently read an article that quite compellingly lays out an argument that Daniel (aka the Karate Kid) is actually the villain in this movie - it shook me to the core!

If you've got ten minutes - and you don't mind your precious childhood memories being stamped on, check this out:

I take great pride in being completely wrong about this show! When I heard that BSG was getting a re-make, I wanted nothing to do with it!

Seriously, not only is it being remade, but Starbuck's a woman?!

I think I lasted until around series 3 before I finally gave in after hearing so many good things. I was one of those people sitting on the edge of my seat as the final five heard that sweet, sweet music.

Do your part

Do your part

I can remember a period of a couple of years when every time I was taken to Blockbusters (bring back memories) I'd take down this gem from the shelf and try to get the old man to rent it for me. He always said no.

It wasn't until a couple of years later that I finally unwrapped the VHS on my birthday. I think I was 15 then, so to be fair, it was probably wise not to pick this family feature for me to rent a couple of years earlier.

There's not enough fan art for troopers out there - DO YOUR PART.

This is part one of a two part piece (although I'm afraid part two is on the vast list of items which are currently being drawn).

It will eventually sit mirrored to him in his final moments (spoilers) not looking quite so good.

Where's the duck?

Where's the duck?

Spend sometime looking around on the internet for fan art which crosses genres; you'll denfinately find more than one verson of Vine and Jules making an appearance. This was my omage.

Growing up we had about 20 videos on the bookshelf I could choose from. This was amongst them with a great big sticker telling me I wasn't allowed to view.

Obviously this mean I immediately did at the first opportunity. And boy do I love rule breaking.

I think this image speaks for itself. I'm sure any parents out there can sympathise.

I'm not proud to admit that this is the more censored version of this image.

The road warrior

For a project I ended up drawing almost 50 shilouttes of characters from across film, television an music. This was definately my top pick.

Not the most complex drawing, but portraits the feeling of the film.

We can't talk about Sci-Fi and not mention one of the greatest creatures ever created.

Simply yet terrifying. So of course it featured on our wedding table plan.
